The Victoria Palace, a hotel, but not only...
A hotel dating back to 1913, the Victoria Palace is located on the left bank of Paris, in a quiet little street in the 6ᵉ arrondissement. Completely renovated in 2020, it welcomes its guests in its 92 rooms and suites, in an intimate and refined atmosphere.
Whether on the terrace, in the dining room, in the lounge, inside the "James" bar or in the room... a complete software suite was needed, capable of accompanying the staff in all their activities, respecting the architecture and decoration of the place.
To offer a sophisticated service, to bring a touch of modernity and technicality to this mythical establishment, that was the challenge of our cash register on iPad Popina!
Popina, the cash register of the Victoria Palace Hotel
The Victoria Palace Hotel reopened its doors to the public in March 2021, modernized, with an eco-responsible approach; a simple, intuitive and connected solution was needed.
Connected how? Through an iPad on which will run the Popina application, connected with the hotel PMS Mews. This PMS allows the connection between the rooms and the bar and synchronizes automatically with the main cashier.
Then, with the help of an iPad mini, for mobile and digitalized order taking. This way, it is possible to take orders in the "James" bar, in the billiard room, in the breakfast room and even in the inner courtyard. The user can take multiple orders and transmit them instantly to the bar. They are synchronized on the screens or by the edition of preparation vouchers via the printer.
Popina in collaboration with Mews allows to centralize the requests, the order taking, thecollection, the reservation, the payment and the reporting in a single solution.
