Instagram. For many, it's an app used to kill time between two services. But as we can't stress enough, don't underestimate the power of social networks. And Instagram is one of those new indispensable tools for restaurateurs.

First photo, first followers. You won't get 1,000 followers on your first day. But what counts is your presence. Go for quality photos that make people want to see you. You'll be able to do all the retouching you need to embellish your shot, using the filters and Instagram tools available on the application. Use simple, precise hashtags and leave it at that.

To increase your popularity and appear in other users' diaries, you can follow Instagram's "influencers" in the field that interests you. In this case, food. Accounts from Michelin-starred chefs, top restaurants, special kitchens and recipes... anything goes. What's more, to increase your chances of likes, like other people's pages, like other people's content and share your snapshots on a regular basis.
